Samsung Galaxy 21 takes

IFixit experts have already joined hands with Samsung’s latest flagship. The Galaxy S21 was the equipment tested at its possible repair levels, and the result is far from the best.

Samsung Galaxy S21 receives 4 out of 10 points in iFixit repair test

According to iFixit, the Galaxy S21 is entitled to a repair fee of 4 out of 10 points possible. Something that, according to the criteria of this source, is superior to the Galaxy S20, but still it is a negative note.

A detail normally seen as negative compared to the previous generation is the plastic rear (instead of glass). This ends up taking away the most premium feeling, but it also makes it easier to remove.

Another important detail is its flat screen. Unlike a curved screen on the sides, it is easier to remove. And during a repair, this can prevent accidents, such as this being damaged.

Changing the screen or battery are the negative points highlighted

Although there are good points, changing the screen or battery seems to be the big points that end up weighing in the negative rating. Excessive glue placed under the battery can therefore make repair difficult.

As you can see around minute 3, there is a comparison with the Galaxy S20 Ultra. This confirms the larger size occupied by the biometric sensor in the current generation, which ends up justifying its greater effectiveness.
