Redmi wants to assert itself as more than a smartphone brand. The sub-brand Xiaomi is preparing to launch its first notebook, the RedmiBook 14. It will come with versions up to the Intel Core i7, with the most expensive variants featuring Nvidia's GeForce MX250 graphics.
After yesterday passing the required certification, it is now certain that RedmiBook will hit the market. As the Mysmartprice website advances exclusively, users will be able to choose between Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors.
If base variants will have to settle for integrated graphics, the more expensive versions of RedmiBook 14 will be equipped with the Nvidia GeForce MX250. This is based on Pascal architecture, and offers higher performance for gaming or graphics work.
RedmiBook 14 will have 4GB / 8GB RAM variants and 256GB / 512GB storage
The RedmiBook 14 will offer consumers variants with 4GB and 8GB of RAM. As for storage, we can expect versions with 256GB and 512GB of SSD storage. According to the source, the only color available will be silver.
In terms of construction and price there is no information yet. One will certainly influence the other. The base models will have to be made of plastic, so that the price can be competitive.
