Much has been said about the arrival of Redmi's highly anticipated first Smart TV, as well as the new Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro. These are currently the most desired products from the manufacturer.
Xiaomi's OCEO has published in its Chinese social network account Weibo, a launch poster for Redmi's Smart TV (70 "inches), confirming its presentation date for August 29th.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro will be presented side by side with the first Smart TV
In its original publication, Lei Jun makes no mention of the anticipated smartphone. However, one user asks the CEO about the Redmi Note 8 presentation at the same event, to which Lei Jun answers with a simple "?". While not as clear a confirmation as would be desired, the CEO seems to have given his 'seal' of approval.
Even though we are only 10 days from its official presentation, the information about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro was not as much as would be desired. However, during the last few days some interesting news has emerged.
Firstly, images appeared that allegedly confirmed some of its specifications. Confirming the presence of the MediaTek G90T processor, 6.3 "Super AMOLED display (Full HD +) and a 5,000mA battery. Most importantly, the presence of the much talked about 64MP megapixel sensor, integrated in a quadcamera, was confirmed. It also has a 12MP, 8MP sensor and a 3D ToF sensor.
Redmi Smart TV will be guaranteed success
Assuming that Redmi will follow the same strategy, offering its fans high quality products at an extremely competitive price, the success of the new Smart TVs seems guaranteed. Even if this poster confirms the arrival of an impressive 70 "model, it will surely be more affordable than current market offerings.
In addition, smaller models starting at 40 "inches are also expected to be featured. This type of model will surely have a larger target audience as well as a more affordable price.
Regarding its internal specifications, not much information has been revealed so far. There is only talk of support for 4K resolution, which is in line with what most Smart TV manufacturers currently offer.
