After its presentation event yesterday in China, the new smartphones from Xiaomi’s subsidiary – Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, Note 9 5G and Note 9 4G – confirmed our suspicions that they would have immediate success. Now, the manufacturer has revealed some very interesting details about pre-order numbers at China’s largest online store, JD.com.

Still with its price to be revealed, at the beginning of the week the store started accepting reservations for new smartphones, managing to accumulate more than 1 million pre-purchases. This number represents only the JD.com website, with smartphones becoming available on other platforms.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G

New Redmi Note 9 will surely follow in the footsteps of its predecessors

Over the years, the various series in the Redmi Note line have achieved impressive success. I recall that, the Redmi Note 7 managed to sell more than 10 million units in just 4 months. In turn, the Redmi Note 8 were even more successful, reaching the same number in just 3 months.

This last series, also managed to surpass the impressive mark of 40 million units, a value that seems certain to be no challenge for the new Redmi Note 9.

Remdi Note 9 5G

With extremely attractive prices, the new smartphones from Xiaomi’s subsidiary have everything to be a great success on a global level, even if they will be launched under different names. These are the prices of the base versions of each model:

  • Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G – € 200
  • Redmi Note 9 5G – € 165
  • Redmi Note 9 4G – € 125

Although inflation in their prices is expected during their expansion into global markets, it seems guaranteed that these smartphones will eventually arrive in Europe at very competitive prices.
