“There is a global outbreak of the Coronavirus COVID-19 that has affected people severely. Due to this unprecedented situation, we have an important update for you. We will not be heading any launch events on the ground in March in India, ”says Manu Kumar Jain, vice president of Xiaomi.

The measure comes to reduce the risk of exposure of employees, journalists, partners and fans of the brand to Coronavirus. For those who attend the event from a distance, there are no major changes.

Livestream online was guaranteed by Redmi for the same day

There will be a livestream available on the planned day, so if you want to see the launch of the new Redmi Note 9 live from home, you don’t have to worry.

For now, Redmi is the first company to cancel an event in India due to the Coronavirus. The Realme 6 are scheduled for presentation on March 5, and there is the possibility of having the same destination.
