Upon official announcement of the Redmi K30 5G, it was revealed that the smartphone would have four variants: 6GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB.
According to what was revealed by the regulatory agency TENAA, Xiaomi's new sub-brand intermediary will have an even more powerful version. This will be 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.
No doubt more storage is welcome, but 12GB of RAM simply seems too much for a mid-range device with a processor like the Snapdragon 765G.
Although it has registered these options, Redmi may choose not to release them to the market. However, given that they have been registered, it will be difficult for the brand not to launch them even in China.
Redmi K30 5G will also have black and green versions
Also revealed in this listing was the fact that the device may come in unannounced colors at launch. In addition to the advertised blue, pink, red and white, it has been listed in black and green.
Please note that Redmi will not go on sale until January 2020. We will then know if these variants will go on sale immediately or will only be marketed in the future.
