The Redmi K30 was announced this Tuesday in China. During the event, the Xiaomi sub-brand also took the opportunity to reveal the sales numbers of this line since its inception.
The Redmi K20 launched in June this year has been ordered over 4.5 million times globally. It was not revealed, however, whether these numbers include the global versions of the devices, called Xiaomi Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro.
Redmi K20 sold 1 million units in just one month
Remember that the K20s were an immediate success. As soon as they went on sale, they sold 200,000 units in the first two hours. In the first month they even reached 1 million units sold.
The success of the Redmi K20 is anything but a surprise. The devices were the 2019 cost-effective champions in both the mid-range and premium.
The question now is whether the Redmi K30 can come close to the success of their predecessors. Once again, the price will be one of the biggest appetizers of these models from the Xiaomi sub brand.
The Redmi K30 (5G) was announced with a price starting in the 1999 yai (about 256 euros). Its global version will certainly be inflated, but given its specifications, it will still be an extremely interesting option for the price.
