Red Dead Redemption may be on its way to the Nintendo Switch. You see

Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the most popular games of recent times. Recently, the game received a PC version, however, Nintendo Switch users have yet to receive a Western version of Rockstar. According to a Twitter user, that day may be closer than we thought.

User Tez2 has found information regarding the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller command in the game files. This is a method that the most curious users often employ to discover “secrets” about games, to investigate internal files.

Obviously this information does not tell us when a version of Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released for the Nintendo Switch but it certainly suggests its future existence. Another hypothesis is Pro Controller support for the PC version.

Is RDR2 too “sand” for the Nintendo Switch?

Nintendo Switch has astonished the gaming world with its size, portability but ability to play graphically intense games. The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim was the first game to demonstrate console capabilities. Years later, we have Nintendo Switch running The Witcher 3.

Therefore, there is an obvious evolution when it comes to converting console and PC games to run on Nintendo Switch. Considering all these factors it is not that absurd to consider that next year or 2021 we may have Red Dead Redemption 2 running on Nintendo's portable console.

Nintendo Switch underwent a discrete upgrade of battery and performance in 2019. Perhaps Nintendo will upgrade again in 2020 or even launch a Nintendo Switch 2.
