Realme X2 Pro is not the most powerful smartphone at the moment. But it is one of the most interesting equipment that you can buy for around 400 euros. However, it will not be through its front camera.
The equipment has passed DxoMark’s camera tests in the last few days, and its front camera has remained for a modest 74 points. For you to have a comparative notion, this is at the level of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro, launched in 2018.
The smartphone has no autofocus, and ends up with not only poor video stabilization but limited dynamic range. The video reveals itself with little detail and the colors also fall short in certain lighting conditions.
In the photographic field, the dynamic range is again limited and there are serious exposure problems. Occasionally the colors are very poorly saturated, and the limited field of view is also an issue.
On the positive side, there is good color rendering and there are good details in close-up images abroad. In video, noise is controlled, and there is good exposure in good light.
The Realme X2 Pro is a smartphone that bets on performance, sacrificing cameras. You won’t be taking the best pictures with this equipment, but for the price it is still interesting in the field of “firepower”.
