Realme was founded in May 2018, having just over a year and a half of existence. However, this has not prevented her from being one of the manufacturers that has surprised most in terms of price-quality of their products.
This already recognized cost-benefit ratio also seems to have surprising sales results. This Tuesday, the company announced that it made more than 25 million smartphone shipments during 2019.
Against this backdrop, the company announced growth of over 500% from one year to the next. This is significant growth, largely due to the rapid evolution of the brand in the Indian market.
By 2020, the brand wants to grow 100%
Something also revealed by the brand is that it was the seventh best-selling manufacturer in the third quarter of 2019, according to data from Counterpoint Research. The company has already set the goal for 2020, which is to exceed 100% growth.
India is the third most important market in the world, after China and the United States. And that’s where Realme’s big sales focus was, which now expects to double its numbers by 2020.
How can the brand achieve such goals? Realme X50 5G was launched this Tuesday in China, so this will now be a market in great focus. In addition, Realme has already started selling in Europe. The brand must now also focus on improving its interface – ColorOS, and improving the cameras of its devices.
