Realme presented another mid-range smartphone last month, the Realme C15, reinforcing its offer of mobile phones in the lower segments. But, even though it offers an excellent price / quality ratio, fans continued to be unconvinced by the presence of a MediaTek processor.
Madhav Sheth – CEO of Realme India – said after the event that, if fans so requested, they could launch a variant of the new smartphones with Qualcomm processors. Now, it has been confirmed that this will actually happen this week.
According to the renowned leaker Mukul Sharma, the new mid-range smartphone equipped with a Qualcomm processor will be presented under the name Realme C15s. Unfortunately, it has not yet been confirmed which processor will be chosen, but it is guaranteed to be one of the most modest.
Even so, this new model should be able to achieve considerable success in the second largest market in the world, considering that it will be launched because it was highly requested by fans.
As for the specifications of the Realme C15s, there were no major confirmations beyond its memory options (4GB + 64GB and 3GB + 32GB). However, everything indicates that it will arrive with specifications identical to the Realme C15, model with the MediaTek processor
Realme C15 specifications
- 6.5 “inch IPS LCD screen with HD + resolution and drop-shaped notch
- Up to 4GB of RAM
- Up to 64GB of storage, expandable via microSD card
- Four rear cameras: 13MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (monochrome) + 2MP
- 8 megapixel front camera
- Fingerprint reader on the rear panel
- 6,000mAh battery with support for charging at 18W
- Android 10, Realme UI 1.0
In addition to the Realme C15s, variants of the Realme C11, C12 and C17 equipped with Qualcomm processors are also expected. With the exception of the C17, all models feature the same MediaTek processor so it is to be expected that the same will happen with the new versions.
