Realme 7i is official. Meet the new budget smartphone from Xiaomi’s rival!

Realme continues to make a name for itself in the world of smartphones, especially with the launch of several models aimed at the most affordable prices. After having recently unveiled the Realme 7 and 7 Pro, the brand today presented its new budget model, the Realme 7i.

For now, Realme 7i has only been officially presented in Indonesia, but its arrival in global markets is expected to take place over the next few weeks. Although it arrives equipped with somewhat modest specifications, it has several points of interest that will please fans of the brand, especially with a price of around € 175.

Realme 7i

Realme 7i specifications

  • 6.5 “inch LCD screen with HD + resolution and 90% screen / body ratio
  • 90Hz refresh rate
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 128GB internal memory
  • Four rear cameras: 64MP + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (macro) + 2MP (monochrome)
  • 16 megapixel front camera
  • Fingerprint reader on the rear panel
  • 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging at 18W
  • Android 10, Realme UI

Realme 7i cameras

Despite arriving at a price below 200 euros (its overall price has not yet been revealed), there are guaranteed some details in its specifications that were expected to be slightly better. For example, although it comes with an LCD screen, it would certainly have a lot to gain with a Full HD + resolution.

In the photographic segment, it seems that manufacturers are increasingly “throwing sand” into the eyes of users. Despite having four rear cameras, it will certainly not perform as well as you would like. In addition to the 64MP and 8MP sensor, the performance of the remaining sensors should be mediocre.

Still, if the manufacturer decides to bet on an aggressive price for Europe too, it is possible that the Realme 7i will manage to gain considerable popularity.
