Oppo's Indian subsidiary has exceeded all expectations with its second smartphone. Having only been available on two occasions, the new smartphone is proving to be a real phenomenon in India.
The brand, which for now only operates online, has made a girl in what is the largest market in the world. The question then remains whether this could be a real threat to Xiaomi in Europe.

Certainly to consider an emerging manufacturer a threat to the giant Xiaomi would be to "stretch the rope" too much. But with European users increasingly looking for value-for-money smartphones, Realme could be very successful in Europe.
Realme 2 has only been marketed on two occasions, yet has managed to reach incredible brands. On these two occasions, more than 370,000 units have been sold, making it one of the most popular smartphones in the Indian market today.
Oppo Realme 2 could prove to be a real competitor of Xiaomi in Europe
Oppo's subsidiary presented itself in this first phase as an exclusively online brand. However, its CEO recently revealed that they have plans to establish a physical store sales line very soon.
Realme's rapid growth in the Indian market could then catapult its arrival in Europe. It would certainly be welcomed with open arms, considering that more and more Chinese manufacturers are welcomed in Europe.
Realme 2 has reached the Indian market, presenting itself as an excellent evolution of its first smartphone. Features a 6.2 "inch screen with HD + resolution and a notch discreet. Its rear panel features a diamond-like design, giving it a very impressive visual impact.
Controlling the center of operations is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, backed by 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal memory. In the photographic segment, it features a dual rear camera (13MP + 2MP) and an 8 megapixel front camera with support for face recognition.
The new smartphone comes with a base price of around 105 €. This is undoubtedly a very attractive price, even with its modest specifications. If a hypothetical Realme 3 arrives with a slightly more competitive processor, its arrival in Europe would be more than welcome.
