Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 is the latest high-end processor from the American company. This will be the engine for many of the top-of-the-range features that will hit the market during 2018. A processor that has already given its air of grace in benchmarks even before it officially hits the market. But there is already talk of his successor, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.
This should only be presented at best later this year. Taking as an example the fact that the Snapdragon 845 was made official in December 2017. But for all intents and purposes, this SoC will only hit the high-end market for 2019.

However, the world of technology is a bottomless pit in terms of news. Every year we have new equipment to unravel and this brings us to a new tide of rumors. Some of them actually come to fruition, others not at all.
Indeed, it is now speculated how the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 will be produced. This, according to Roland Quandt, should be manufactured on the 7nm process or lithograph. This will translate into a more economical and more powerful processor than its predecessor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 will not hit the market until 2019
Please note that the Snapdragon 845 is being manufactured by Samsung based on 10nm lithography. A small variation of the process adopted in 2017 in the development of Snapdragon 835. This will translate into a 10% more powerful and 15% more efficient processor.
Snapdragon 855 should be the first high-end processor to be developed on 7nm lithography. With this process, it is believed that it will be possible to develop a new SoC with a 37% increase in its performance and 40% more economical. Numbers that, if confirmed, will represent a big improvement over the current generation.
As for the company that will produce Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 there is no official information yet. However, the specialized press believes that Asian TSMC will be responsible for building this processor. To be true, after two years, Samsung will lose the development of one of the most popular SoC's in the world.
These are just rumors that allegedly came from the production chain of this processor. We are still very far from the presentation of this SoC and still much can happen from here to there. Therefore, you should read all of this information carefully.
