The design of DualSense, the official PlayStation 5 controller, is no secret to anyone. This was revealed a few months ago by Sony, but it will have all the secrets discovered this Friday.
The PS5 controller will be one of the stars of this day at SummerGamesFest. And the event’s curator, Geoff Keighley, turned to social media to show us a short video of “hands on” with the command.
“This is DualSense, the PlayStation 5 controller. Tomorrow (July 17th at 5pm UK), it’s time to put it in your hands. I can’t wait to tell you about my experience ”, you can read in the tweet.
DualSense looks more ergonomic than DualShock 4
The 19-second video shows the curator taking the command from a table, and giving a small preview of it. One of the fans’ concerns is the comfort of the controller, but first impressions seem to be quite positive.
Always being a matter of taste, it is good to remember that the PlayStation 4 controller does not excel in comfort. Hence, this ergonomics, closer to the Xbox controller, is expected to favor its grip.
The DualSense color scheme follows the line of black and white that we have already seen in the PlayStation 5 design itself. But as usual, it will have versions with several color schemes in the future.
