Secret Wonders is the title for the third major expansion in the Diamond & Pearl Series of Pokemon Trading Card Game. It was initially released in Japan as Shining Darkness, and it's based on Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond, with Generation IV. The English expansion was published on November 7, 2007, while the Japanese version was released on July 5, 2007.

Shining Darkness was about Dialga Vs Palkia VS Darkrai, which premiered one week after the expansion's release. Legendary Pokemon

Meet the legendary trio of Entei (4/132), Raikou (16/132), and Suicune (19/132). Each has a unique ability that gives you an edge in battle. It could be Entei that does damage, Raikou that attaches Lightning Energy to it, or Suicune, which recovers your Water-type Pokemons from your discard pile. Which one is best for your new strategies?

No-Cost Attacks

This is an excellent range of attacks that do not require Energy. Smeargle (66/132), which can search your deck for 3 Basic Energy cards, can damage the Defending Pokemon and put equal damage counters on them. Banette (23/132) can also damage them both. These attacks are available to many Pokemon in Secret Wonders, allowing you to save energy for those that require it most.

Wondrous Items

The expansion introduces “items” for the first time. These items are part of the Pokemon card and give that Pokemon a unique distinction. Murkrow's (95/132) Dusk Stone allows it to instantly evolve into Honchkrow (1132/132) in any of your turns, even the first one. What other Pokemon items do you have?
