The fantastic powers that lie beyond the horizon emerge on a new day. The Pokemon TCG: Diamond & Pearl – Majestic Dawn expansion includes the Evolution Pokemon Eevee in its ice- and grass forms, Leafeon and Glaceon. Majestic Dawn brings you extraordinary origins with more Pokemon, new Pokemon LV.X and a cool Stadium card.
Majestic Dawn is the fifth expansion in the Diamond & Pearl Series of Pokemon Trading Card Game. It is based on Pokemon Pearl and Pokemon Diamond, which feature Generation IV Pokemon. It was released on May 21, 2008.
Moonlit Pursuit was separated from Dawn Dash due to the six-month gap between the release of the fourth expansion block (Moonlit Pursuit, Dawn Dash) and the fifth expansion bloc (Cry from the Mysterious, Temple of Anger). Majestic Dawn mainly featured cards from the Dawn Dash expansion. Discover what lies beyond the newest horizon of Diamond & Pearl-Majestic Dawn!
The arrival of one of the most eagerly awaited groups of Pokemon is now! Eevee receives two additional evolutions in Majestic Dawn. This brings the total number to seven. You'll find all of them in this set. Leafeon (7/100) traps the opponent's Defending Pokemon during battle and locks it in for future damage. Leaf Guard's combination of hard hits with built-in defence makes Leaf Guard a great choice. Glaceon (5/100) can nullify all incoming attacks by using its Snow Cloak every turn.
Then, it kicks into high gear and uses Speed Slide to avoid all defences. Eevee's evolutions and the variety of options available to add additional Pokemon types to your deck are some of the best things about using them.
A New LV.X Pokemon is on the Block, and it's Coming to You!
Garchomp LV.X (93/100) is a violation of all rules. However, it is one of the most powerful Pokemon around. When Garchomp is in play, its Dragon Pulse Poke-Power can damage all Benched Pokemon of your opponent. It can also use regular Garchomp attacks and has a free Restore attack.
Restore lets you bring any one of your Pokemon from the discard pile back into play and put it into play directly, even a Stage 2. This Pokemon does not come in empty-handed. It can also get up to three basic Energy cards from your discard pile. Garchomp LV.X can be very powerful and helpful in bringing back Pokemon who have been knocked out.
Majestic Dawn introduces three new Fossils: Old Amber, Helix Fossil and Dome Fossil. Helix Fossil (91/100), Dome Fossil (89/100), and Helix Fossil (101/100) allow for fast evolutions to their Stage 1 forms by attaching Energy cards. Aerodactyl (15/100) quickly evolves from Old Amber (84/100), which has a Primal Claw Poke-Body that puts two damage counters onto your opponent's Pokemon whenever they use a Poke-Power. Aerodactyl can be quickly retrieved for easy damage. Fossils can offer many strategies to your game. You'll want these!
Energy cards are a part of every deck. These cards will most often be basic Energy cards that match the Pokemon types. However, there are a few unique Energy cards. Majestic Dawn's new Special Energy cards can be used in any deck. Recover Energy (96/100) offers recovery from special damage conditions, and Colorless Energy (94/100), two new cards by Majestic Dawn. Call Energy (92/100) is perhaps even more popular.
Call Energy gives you Colorless Energy and allows you to search your deck for Basic Pokemon and place them on your Bench. This ability can end your turn but can be used to set you up for the remainder of the game.
These cards are available in boosters and Diamond & Pearl-Majestic dawn theme decks!
