Guardians Rising is the title given to the second major expansion in the Sun & Moon Series. It was initially released in Japan as the Alolan Moonlight and Islands Await You dual expansions. These two expansions make up the second block of the Pokemon Card Game Sun & Moon Era. It is based on Pokemon Sun and Moon and features Generation VII Pokemon. The English expansion was published on May 5, 2017, and the Japanese edition on March 17, 2017. Guardians Rising includes its Japanese counterpart, the Strength Expansion Pack Sun & Moon and the Rockruff Full Power Deck.
