The Pokemon TCG: Generations expansion celebrates 20 years of Pokemon. It covers every stage of a Trainer’s journey, from choosing a partner Pokemon to the most elite of Trainer battles. Generations is an extraordinary expansion to the XY BREAK Series for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It was initially released in Japan as a Starter Pack, a starter deck for the Pokemon Card Game XY BREAK.

The Generations expansion to the Pokemon Trading Card Game celebrated the 20th anniversary of the franchise. It featured a large selection of Pokemon from Generation I. This included cards from the Japanese Starter pack and a few Japanese XYP Promotional cards.

The second Radiant Collection subset was also included (the cards were individually numbered with the prefix RC), which was the first to appear in the Legendary Treasures expansion.
