Flashfire is the name of the second major expansion in the XY Series for the Pokemon Trading Card Game. It was initially released in Japan as Wild Blaze, the second expansion to the Pokemon Card Game XY Era. It is based on Pokemon X and Y and features Generation VI Pokemon and the Flame Pokemon Charizard in both Mega Evolved versions. The English expansion was published on May 7, 2014, and the Japanese expansion was released on March 15, 2014. Flashfire contains the Japanese counterpart and the M Charizard EX Mega Battle Deck.
Secret prints of M Pokemon-EX were made. The artwork featured the attack's golden text. The Japanese text was used for international prints, but the Japanese text was also used on Japanese prints (as opposed to English text on regular prints). The Pokemon TCG: Flashfire expansion is now available.
You can blaze your way to glory by battling with cards from the Pokemon XY-Flashfire expansion. You can ignite the action with a torrent of Fire-type Pokemon, and your opponents will be frightened to double-take when the excellent Mega Charizard EX makes its debut in this stunning expansion. As your enemies flee the field, you will have explosive adventures!
The XY–-Flashfire expansion includes over 100 cards and contains five new Pokemon-EX and three new Mega Evolution Pokemon.
The Pokemon TCG has the following features:

- Five new Pokemon-EX cards–Charizard EX leads the charge for powerful new Pokemon-EX to fight with

- 15 new Trainer cards – New Item, Supporter and Stadium cards increase the depth and player strategy in competitive battles
