A new species of Pokemon has emerged from the research laboratories in the Tower of Holon! This revelation will be thrilling for anyone who trains or collects Pokemon. EX Delta Species will allow players to share in the discovery and experimentation with rare Dual Energy Pokemon. This will also make Pokemon Delta Species more powerful. Are you ready for the new Delta Species?
EX Delta Species refers to the eleventh expansion in the EX Series of Pokemon Trading Card Game. It was initially released in Japan as Holon Research Tower. This sixth expansion of the Pokemon Card Game PCG Era was known as this set. This set includes Generation III Pokemon. The English expansion was published on October 31, 2005, and the Japanese expansion was released on October 28, 2005.
EX Delta Species introduced d Delta Species as a type and Holon's Pokemon. They could also double up as Special Energy cards. The expansion was made in the Holon Research Tower. This tower houses scientists who study Mew and other strange Pokemon. These Pokemon were altered by electromagnetic radiation from an experiment at Holon Labs.
The Delta Species was the new Pokemon species. These new Pokemon were different from their common species. EX Delta Species allows you to have new adventures in a distant land that has never been seen before in the Pokemon universe. Holon is a city that researchers have built.
Holon's residents study the mysterious and magnetic powers that exist in the region. Scientists are still trying to figure out how these powers affect local Pokemon. Because they are not standard Pokemon, Pokemon-ex or Pokemon “star”, these new Pokemon are called Delta Species Pokemon.
The new Holon Supporter Cards reflect the hard work of the Holon people. As scientists harness the power of Holon, new Energy Cards are available. This includes Pokemon that can be Energy cards.
EX Delta Species has a new feature: introducing Delta Species Pokemon. Delta Species Pokemon are very similar to normal Pokemon, and you can either evolve a Delta Species Pokemon or a normal Pokemon using a Delta Species Pokemon. They can also use the Pokemon Tool cards and Special Energy cards. If used correctly, however, many Delta Species Pokemon can be nearly as powerful as Pokemon X.
One example of a powerful Delta Species Pokemon is Metagross (11/113). Crush and Burn is an attack that can be devastating and previously only seen on Electrode ex (EX FireRed and LeafGreen, 107.112) as Crash and Burn. It deals 30 damage and 20 damage for every Energy card that you want to discard from any of the Pokemon.
You may still find Metagross' attack frightening. Metagross has Delta Control Poke-Power that allows you to look at your top four cards and select one to place in your hand. The other three cards must be placed at the bottom of the deck. However, if you still want one, Professor Cozmo's Discovery (EX Deoxys 90/107) can allow you to place those three cards in your hand. Dragonite (3/113) is compatible with Metagross.
However, it can also be used with any Lightning Energy deck. Dragonite's Delta Charge Pokepower lets you attach one Lightning Energy card from your discard pile onto one of your Benched Pokemon. Dragonite has an Agility attack that deals 30 damage. If your opponent attacks Dragonite, their attack will fail if they flip their tails!
Salamence (14/113), a Fire-type Pokemon, has a Weakness-to-Colorless-type Pokemon. This distinction is crucial because it allows you to build a deck of Fire-type Pokemon without being vulnerable to Water-type Pokemon. Salamence's Delta Blast attack can destroy many Water-type Pokemon, and it deals 100 damage and instantly knocks out most Water-type Pokemon in one hit.
A deck that contains at least one Delta Species Pokemon can include the Holon Research Tower (94/113) Stadium cards. Basic Energy cards attached to a Delta Species Pokemon can provide either their usual Energy type or Metal Energy.
However, only one of these Energy types is available at a given time. This means there are no problems with Metal Energy that Delta Species Pokemon may have! Salamence must, for instance, discard one Metal Energy every time it uses Delta Blast. If the basic Energy cards attached by Salamence can provide Metal Energy, then you can discard one of them instead. An actual Metal Energy card will not be required to be discarded.
