Cosmic Eclipse is the twelfth and final major expansion in the Sun & Moon Series. It was initially released in Japan as Alter Genesis and based on Pokemon Ultra Sun, Ultra Moon and Generation VII Pokemon. The English expansion was published on November 1, 2019, and the Japanese expansion on September 6, 2019.
Cosmic Eclipse introduced TAG TEAM Pokemon -GX, which featured three Pokemon sharing at least one type. TAG TEAM Supporter cards were also introduced by Cosmic Eclipse, which featured two trainers. Below the card's name was a TAG TEAM label with a yellow bar.
Cosmic Eclipse featured Full Art Pokemon cards that were drawn with a trainer. The most famous Trainers were those who were the first to own them in anime or video games.
