A large number of buyers of Apple’s new iPhone 12 have reported problems with wireless charging on their terminals. Attentive to the issue, the American brand has already announced that it is working on a solution.
According to several reports, charging stops working on Qi chargers, regardless of their brands. Some iPhone 12 simply refuse to charge, while others start the process but interrupt it for no apparent reason.
How to (temporarily) solve the iPhone 12 problem
A solution that has been suggested in the Apple forums is the forced reboot of the smartphone. Of course, this trick is just a trick for you to use the phone, but after a few days you will have the same problem again. Interestingly, MagSafe chargers appear to be unaffected.
Aware of the situation, Apple’s technical support has already admitted that this is a bug experienced by a considerable group of users, stating that they are working to resolve the issue in the coming days.
It is anticipated that the update 14.3 for iOS may arrive before Christmas, and with that it will be able to restore normality in relation to wireless charging.
