Advantages and disadvantages of a portable computer
The most obvious advantage of having a laptop is in its name: portability. Whether it’s a gaming or an ultra-slim, having access to your documents, games and operating system anywhere is great for students, travelers or workers who need access to the computer from anywhere.
On the other hand, we have some disadvantages such as overheating over the years, if the notebook does not have good cooling. In addition, component upgrades are usually more expensive.
In this way, normally those who choose notebooks do not mind keeping the original components for the life of the equipment. Eventually, the user will have to buy a new one.
Advantages of a desktop computer
Desktops, or towers, have the advantage of better cooling systems and a greater possibility of upgrades than any laptop. The useful life of a desktop is potentially longer, if the user knows how to properly clean the components and make improvements.
For users who don’t need portability and want to save money, the desktop is the best option. Mainly because you can just go shopping for your pieces and assemble the final product.
