Patent reveals what the Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 might look like

After months of work following the official introduction of the Samsung Galaxy Fold, here are new patents showing how Samsung can approach its successor.

The rumors have not been many, especially because the South Korean brand is having serious problems launching its first folding smartphone to the market. Still, the manufacturer continues to work on evolutions and these images reveal how they could be.

Possible Samsung Galaxy Fold 2

We see that the smartphone will look more square than the typical smartphone. That is, this can be either a mobile phone or a small tablet that transforms when opened.

The ideology, however, is the same. We have a device that opens in two and cameras in the back corner of the smartphone. One of the front parts (when folded) is also a screen. Something we already saw in the first Galaxy Fold. Hence we say that this may well be your successor.

Apparently, in this patent, Samsung managed to reduce the size of the interior notch. I remember that Samsung Galaxy Fold has a small cutout on the screen when opened. This patent demonstrates that Samsung is working to prevent this from happening in the future. At least in such a sharp way.

We only have to know when we will see such a model on the market. I remember that a patent does not guarantee that the equipment will be official. Instead, we have confirmation that Samsung has been working on its successor and has discovered technology that is worth patenting so that competitors do not copy the shape of the device.

In the meantime, we are looking forward to Samsung's first folding smartphone that is expected to hit the market later this year at around € 2000.
