Over the past few months, there have been many rumors and leaks about OPPO’s first smartwatch, which will arrive with an extremely similar design to the Apple Watch. Although many may point to these similarities as being a “clone”, they should be viewed with good eyes, as the Apple Watch remains the most popular smartwatch ever.
Now, it was the brand’s own turn to confirm its launch date. OPPO Watch will be presented on March 6th, during the presentation event of the long-awaited OPPO Find X2.
What we know about OPPO Watch
Unfortunately, the manufacturer has been able to keep information about the specifications and features of its first smartwatch a secret. So, in addition to what was revealed in the various published images, little or nothing is known about OPPO Watch.
The latest publication on your official Twitter account, ends up confirming the design of the smartwatch, going against the information that previously appeared.
As you can see, it will arrive with a square shape and an extremely curved screen at its side ends. Certainly, this type of design will make the watch extremely comfortable to wear. Unlike the Apple Watch, there will be no crown. Instead, OPPO decided to bet on two physical buttons with a very discreet relief.
Still regarding its design, everything indicates that it will be available in two colors, black and gold, and there may be several bracelets available.
Finally, the published image confirms its ability to make / receive calls. Although it has not been confirmed, since one of the watches is making a call, it is possible that the OPPO Watch will arrive with eSIM support and be completely independent of the smartphone.
