OPPO already presented the Reno4 Pro at the beginning of last month, but it arrived as an exclusive for the Chinese market. Now, after several rumors have pointed to a new model for the rest of the international markets, we have learned some details about the global version of OPPO Reno4 Pro.
It seems that the presentation of this new mid-range smartphone will be made on July 31 and it seems that it will leave many users disappointed. Thanks to new images, we have the confirmation of its design and one of the main changes. As seen in the image below, the global variant will arrive with an additional sensor, featuring a total of four rear cameras.
Although the exclusive model of the Chinese market has only a triple camera, it arrives with support for Laser Auto-Focus, which seems to be absent in the model intended for global markets. This seems to be the only external modification, since the rest of its design is identical to the original model.
There is still no detailed information about the sensors that will be integrated in the OPPO Reno4 Pro, but it is believed that at least its main sensor (48MP) should remain the same.
Global version of OPPO Reno4 Pro will be a disappointment
Unfortunately, for users looking for a good option with regard to a mid-range smartphone with a high level of performance, the OPPO Reno4 Pro will certainly not justify the investment. Contrary to what we saw in the Chinese version, it will not arrive with support for 5G networks.
This change makes its performance much less attractive, thanks to the presence of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G processor. Although it is able to guarantee a high level of performance, it does not even come close to the Snapdragon 765G.
With regard to the remaining specifications, no further changes are expected.
