The Oppo Reno 4 and its Pro version were introduced last July and we are already talking about their successors. According to some rumors, the Oppo Reno 5 could be revealed as early as December, just half a year after its predecessors.
Today, Digital Chat Station used his account on the social network Weibo to reveal more details about these devices. According to him, there will be three models to compose the Oppo Reno 5 line.
Oppo Reno 5: three smartphones with three different processors
Apparently, Oppo will use three of the most popular processors of 2019 for its next smartphones. The Snapdragon 765G, Mediatek Dymensity 1000 and Snapdragon 865 will be used.
This means that the Oppo Reno 5 will attack different layers of the market. Two of these devices are intended for the upper mid-range market, while the third will be a high-end.
Oppo Reno 5 will support 65W fast charging
Another data confirmed by Digital Chat Station regarding the next Oppo smartphones has to do with its fast charging. According to a certification from the Chinese entity 3C, all will come with 65W fast charging.
This data is not surprising, as we have already seen OnePlus launch a smartphone with a Snapdragon 865 and the same loading speed. This is relevant because both brands are part of the BBK Electronics conglomerate and it is customary to exchange technology and design between the two.
Regarding the remaining specifications, some points are not yet clear. It is believed that the model with a Dimensity 1000 processor will come with 8GB of RAM and Android 11.
The model with Snapdragon 765G should have a 6.43-inch Full-HD + screen, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage, 4300mAh battery and Android 11. In the photographic department, a 32MP front and a 64MP rear are expected.
