Although Xiaomi is the most prominent Chinese manufacturer today, several of its rivals continue to make major advances in their smartphones. Now, Oppo has revealed when it will officially present its next 5G smartphones.
Through a very original invitation, we learned that the Oppo Reno 3 5G (and also the "Pro" variant) will be presented next December 26th.
Just an irresistible price tag will make the Oppo Reno 3 a threat to the Redmi K30
The Redmi K30 has been presented with impressive specs, accompanied by a very hard price to beat. If the Oppo Reno 3 wants to face this new smartphone, it will need to come with an even more attractive price, as it has some lower specifications.
However, there is a small detail that may lead some users to prefer the Oppo offer. The new Reno 3 will arrive equipped with an AMOLED screen, while the Redmi K30 has an LCD panel. But it is important to remember that Redmi's smartphone arrives with a refresh rate of 120Hz.
Another segment where Oppo Reno 3 is expected to be slightly lower is in the photographic. It comes with a rear quad-camera (48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP) and "just" a 32 megapixel front camera.
Oppo Reno 3 5G Specifications
- 6.5 "Inch AMOLED Display with Full Hd + Resolution, Fingerprint Reader and Punch Hole
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G (5G) Processor
- 8GB RAM
- 128GB internal memory expandable via microSD card
- Four rear cameras: 48MP + 13MP + 8MP + 2MP
- 32 megapixel front camera
- 4,000mAh battery with 30W quick charge support
- Android 10
Given that the Redmi K30 was introduced in China with a base price of around € 250, Oppo will need to squeeze its profit margin as far as possible to meet Xiaomi's offer.
