After having launched their Oppo Inno Day at the end of last year, the manufacturer is just minutes away from starting the second edition. This is an event dedicated to innovation in the most varied segments, and Oppo has given many proofs over the years that it is one of the most innovative manufacturers today.
Although its smartphones are still not the most sought after globally, Oppo was largely responsible for the implementation of many of the recent innovations in the smartphone world by the other manufacturers. During the event that will start at 10 am (UK), several surprises are expected regarding the future technologies that may be implemented on their smartphones.

What to expect from this Oppo event
During last year’s event, we saw two new technologies being demonstrated, augmented reality glasses and the prototype of its first smartphone with camera selfie below the screen. As expected, what stood out the most was the prototype of the smartphone, which ended up starting the “revolution” of cameras below the screen, which is expected to become much more common in 2021.
This year, demonstrations of two products are again expected. One of them, should be a more advanced version of the already known AR glasses (augmented reality). The second product talks about the possibility of being the prototype of its first smartphone with a scrollable screen.
There is still not much information about this prototype, believing that it may have some unusual details with the LG Project B, revealed momentarily during the final seconds of the LG Wing event.
Although these should be the two main highlights of the event, it is possible that the manufacturer has reserved some more surprises for its fans. The brand left some clues about the possible launch of a new augmented reality application – CybeReal – but details are scarce.
There is also a great expectation about the possibility of presenting a new smartphone during the event, or new technologies that may soon be implemented on their smartphones. This is because, even if the prototype of its first smartphone with a scrollable screen is revealed, it will hardly reach the market in 2021.
