The OnePlus range for 2020 will be presented soon on April 14, according to the company’s official announcement. However, in addition to the OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, the announcement of a third device is rumored: OnePlus 8 Lite, also known as OnePlus Z.

This will be OnePlus’ supposed bet on the mid-range market, still untapped by the brand. The Instagram Tech Droider page took the liberty of creating an image of its design, based on leaks of previous information.

The picture shows the OnePlus Z at the foot of the box, with its back cover. The OnePlus logo in the middle of the rear of the device is discernible. However, the part that stands out most is certainly the 3-camera module, wrapped in the famous orange tone of OnePlus.

OnePlus CEO Liu Zuohu said recently that the company would no longer manufacture equipment with screens below 60Hz. Therefore, if launched, the OnePlus Z should have a screen with refresh rate of at least 90Hz.

Call it OnePlus 8 Lite or OnePlus Z, it is confirmed that it is the same device, although its launch with the rest of the OnePlus 8 family has not yet been confirmed. We will know the whole truth on April 14th.

OnePlus 8 Pro promises to bet on photography

Recently, the technical specifications of the camera module of the OnePlus 8 Pro, the high-end model, were revealed. These are impressive, as they bring together 2 Sony sensors of 48MP each, a main and a wide angle. There is also a third telephoto lens capable of 100 optical up to 3x and a fourth of 5MP.

In this way, we can count on the OnePlus 8 Pro to compete with the Galaxy S20 Ultra and Huawei P40 Pro in the photographic department.
