OnePlus’ first smartwatch suffers a major setback

OnePlus recently expressed its desire to expand its ecosystem. After the launch of its first earbuds completely wireless, the expectation was now in the launch of its first smartwatch.

However, the bad news arrives today. According to what is being advanced by Max J, OnePlus will have postponed its first smartwatch indefinitely. This means that the gadget is now unknown.

OnePlus will have encountered problems in product development

Whoever is advancing with this unfortunate development is not in a position to say what are the motivations for what happened. Everything is open in this field, not sure if it will be a question of software or hardware.

We will hardly have an official explanation for this alleged postponement. It is not often the practice of companies to admit that something went wrong in the development of a product yet to be announced.

Rumors said that the first OnePlus smartwatch would be revealed soon. A scenario that is unlikely to materialize, even though the existence of this product is now in question.

This is another setback for OnePlus in recent weeks

If all of this is true, the indefinite postponement of its first smartwatch is more bad news for OnePlus. All of this happens a few days after its founder Carl Pei left the company.

Carl Pei did not reveal the reasons that led him to leave the company he helped found, but that could be an indicator of some internal turmoil. We will see how this exit will affect the company’s future.

But not only bad news has been ruling the last days of OnePlus. Just yesterday, the Chinese company presented two new equipment that put it in a new market segment. The OnePlus Nord N100 and N10 5G are the most affordable models ever launched by and could be synonymous with impressive sales figures.
