There are bold advertising campaigns and then one by OnePlus. The Chinese manufacturer has decided to create a piano using 17 units from its newly released OnePlus 7T Pro. Even more bizarre is that the strange instrument will be touring in Europe.
In fact, OnePlus a few days ago shared a dark image on Twitter where it left the words "soon". Several comments in the publication assumed that it was new equipment but no, it is a piano called OnePlus Phone Piano.
To create the piano, OnePlus aligned the 17 units and probably created a piano app for that purpose. The whole point of this creation is to illustrate how fluid the OnePlus 7T Pro screen is, with its refresh rate reaching 90Hz.
OnePlus has even hired a pianist and will then tour Europe on November 10, 12, 14 and 16. If you want to catch the live events, book the trips to the UK, France, Germany and Finland, respectively.
OnePlus 7T Pro screen to be out soon
Recently, Xiaomi has revealed that it is testing on an AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate. A phone with such a screen would set the OnePlus 7T Pro aside for visual quality.
However, Xiaomi only plans to bring equipment with this type of display in 2020. By then, OnePlus is likely to launch OnePlus 8, which will certainly raise the bar in this field. Meanwhile gaming phones like Asus Rog Phone 2 and Razer Phone 2 already have 120Hz screens.
