We are already seeing OnePlus launch quality products. However, in recent years we have seen a significant increase in the price of your mobile phones. Well, that didn’t happen with the new OnePlus Buds.
OnePlus Buds are wireless earphones with a price that will seriously compete in the market. Mainly with the features they offer for the price.
Features of the new OnePlus Buds
- Design identical to AirPods
- Small loading box
- Autonomy for 7 hours (4h on a call)
- Box autonomy for another 30 hours
- Bluetooth 5.0
- Simple pairing with two devices
- Arrive in white, black and blue
- Dolby Atmos
- Water splash resistance
These characteristics are promising. The design is ergonomic and identical to the first AirPods. That is, for many users who do not like the earphones (beeeem) inside the ear, they are perfect.
We also have quick pairing with two devices. This feature is gold on blue. You only need to press an earphone for 4 seconds and it automatically pairs with the second device previously chosen.
Unfortunately the box does not give us wireless charging. However, like the OnePlus Nord, we cannot ask for everything at the price they are selling.
Pairing with an Android smartphone is also simple. Still, you can still pair with your Apple devices.
Finally, we have no noise cancellation, something that Xiaomi already offers with its earphones at a slightly higher price. However, I learned that noise cancellation in this type of earphones is quite annoying. In fact, you can see our reviews of Huawei earphones to understand my opinion on the matter more concretely.
OnePlus Buds pricing
Earphones reach the European market for € 89. A seriously competitive value in a clearly growing segment. Removing headphones from smartphones is a good example of this. Manufacturers want to pull the “wireless” ideology and we couldn’t be happier about it. (go, at least some users).
