Like some of its main rivals, the OnePlus 9 is also expected to be introduced earlier than usual. It is believed that its presentation could happen in March and we are already beginning to talk in detail about this top of the range.
After the first renders of the OnePlus 9, the publication 91Mobiles returns with more details about the smartphone’s camera. In addition, she shared a real image that proves the design of the equipment’s photographic module.
This image confirms what we saw last week in the first renders of OnePlus 9. The top of the range will come with three lenses, vertically aligned, simulating a drop of water due to its different dimensions.
OnePlus will improve photo sensors in OnePlus 9
OnePlus has greatly improved the quality of its equipment, however, its cameras remain the Achilles’ Heel. The photographs captured with its sensors are shown below the main rivals.
To make up for this difference, the Chinese company will change sensors on the OnePlus 9. According to what is advanced, this equipment will come with a 48MP main lens, but will abandon the Sony IMX 586 sensor on the OnePlus 8T. The company is said to be migrating to the IMX 689.
The second lens that we see in the camera of this top of the range will be a wide angle, also with a resolution of 48MP. Here we see a jump compared to the same lens as the OnePlus 8T, which in the last is only 16MP.
The details about the third lens present in the OnePlus 9 remain to be confirmed. However, due to its size, it is unlikely to be a telephoto. The most certain thing is that Chinese technology bet on a macro or depth measurement lens.
It should be noted that these details are related to the OnePlus 9. For now, we still have no indications of what to expect from the camera of the OnePlus 9 Pro, but it will certainly have an upper camera.
