The world of smartphones is moving faster and faster, and the new information is proof of that. OnePlus 7T was just introduced a few days ago in India and its global presentation is scheduled for October 10th only.
However, this did not prevent information from already starting to circulate about the new OnePlus 8, due to be introduced during the first half of 2020.
OnePlus 8 design impresses, but not surprising!
Over the past few months, it seems that the Chinese manufacturer is going through a kind of identity crisis regarding the design of its smartphones.
OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro have come up with a different approach to their front camera (notch vs pop-up), and now OnePlus 7T will be the first to come with a circular rear camera.
Brand fans have already heard about this design option, and it looks like OnePlus will be back to "roots" on its next high-end smartphone.
The images were published by renowned leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer (@OnLeaks), who claims that these CAD renders faithfully represent what OnePlus 8 will look like.
From what we can see in the images, OnePlus 8 will again feature a triple rear-facing camera positioned vertically in the center of the panel. In front of the smartphone is a punch hole for the first time that will replace the notch / pop-up camera.
In addition to the small vertical margins, we can also see that both the front and rear windows have an interesting curvature. While it shouldn't be as obvious as the Huawei Mate 30 Pro's 'waterfall screen', the OnePlus 8 should also come with a curved screen.
