While OnePlus smartphones stand side by side with the rest of the 2019 tops in terms of features and specifications, these are not the features that make them unique. Apart from Google, this is possibly the only major manufacturer that guarantees extremely fast updates, and extremely well designed software.
This year, the same day that Android 10 was officially released, OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro received their first beta. Being one of the first smartphones to receive the new version of the operating system. Now, just 2 weeks later, they are already receiving the second version, which makes Android 10 much more stable for everyday use.
OxygenOS Beta 2 brings no new features, but ensures a more stable experience.
For users who expected to see new features arrive, this update does not bring good news. However, if you have already ventured into the beta version of Android 10 on your OnePlus 7 Pro, don't waste your time and upgrade now.
As with all other trial versions, this Android 10 comes with a number of bugs and several malfunctions. All these small (and sometimes big) problems make it very risky to use them on smartphones we use every day.
With the new update, many of the key issues have been resolved, which will ensure a much more positive user experience with fewer negative 'surprises'.
OnePlus 7 Pro with Android 10 now has several issues resolved
In addition to the usual performance improvements and minor bug fixes, there were many issues and glitches resolved by this new update.
Among the many issues reported by users who have decided to test this OxygenOS Beta, they will no longer have problems with:
- Using parallel applications
- Dark Mode on Lock Screen
- Notification Bar Icons
- OnePlus Gestures
- Fingerprint reader malfunctions
Considering OnePlus' excellent track record for releasing updates for their smartphones. Hopefully it won't be long before OnePlus 7 Pro gets the first stable release of Android 10.
