OxygenOS's new Open Beta has begun to reach OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T. This is version 22 and 14, respectively, and comes with the July security patch as well as a bug fix on the camera.
Users of the latest Open Beta faced an error in the camera landscape mode of these devices. The error occurred when using the quick reply feature, and is resolved in the new version.
What changes in this Open Beta
- Fixed bug in camera when using 'quick response' in landscape mode
- Bug fixes and general improvements
- Android Security Patch Updated July 2019
- Enhanced Interface
- Optimized base navigation
- Improves application stability
- More data migration types supported
In addition to improved camera error, another noticeable change in this release is the renewal of File Manager. Not only will you have an improved interface, but you can count on more stability throughout the app.
This update will automatically come via OTA (over-the-air) to anyone already using Beta on OnePlus 6 and 6T. If you have one of these devices, and want to migrate to beta, you can check out the OnePlus forum on how to do it safely.
If you do, you should note that this is Beta software. That is, you will not find the stability of 'normal' versions. However, for those who want to have the latest news firsthand, it is the most appropriate version type.
