The OnePlus 5 smartphone is still one of the best Android's you can find on the market, although it has felt that this year the brand played more safe and already with all other brand releases. This device now receives a new update for OxygenOS 4.5.12 with several fixes after just a few days ago receiving OxygenOS 4.5.11.

The Chinese builder has now released a new version of its interface, OxygenOS which now reaches version 4.5.12. This is a minor update from the previous 4.5.11 and will fix some bugs or bugs from the previous version.
What's more, it will bring considerable improvements in how quickly Apps open and brings the new security package (patch) of September.
OxygenOS 4.5.12 begins to arrive at OnePlus 5
Well, what changes with this new version of OxygenOS? What's new, fixes, and why should you install it as soon as you get the update notification available?
This small update brings bug fixes like the bug that was affecting the latest firmware version where the Downloads App icon was appearing.
We have enhanced notification ringtone personalization capabilities, increased Apps launch speed and a smoother automatic brightness mechanism for transitions whose overall operation has been optimized.
In addition to the generic bugs that have been eliminated, it is important to remember that this latest release brings the much-needed Google security package dated September 2017.
This includes vulnerability fixes and other potential security threats to our devices. This new patch I was late to arrive.
In short, this is a small update of just 45MB in weight that you can either download via Wi-Fi or over the data connection and if you don't want to wait for your arrival via OTA (over the air) you can also download HERE, the new firmware package.
I remind you that you should have at least 50% charge on your smartphone before you install any system updates, and at least make a periodic backup of your data and settings.
