The era of key cell phones is not over yet, as there is still a market for this type of equipment. Such is the case with Nokia XpressMusic, which will have a new version released by Nokia soon. The equipment has already received the necessary certifications to be sold in several markets.

However, this will be a very specific device as it is only compatible with 2G networks. All over the world, there are operators that no longer operate 2G networks, others that remain active.

The new Nokia XpressMusic, as certified by TENAA

The equipment had already passed through the organization of certifications TENAA, on the model TA-1212. Although not yet specified, Nokia is likely to launch this device in several markets.

A mobile phone that takes us back to simpler times

In terms of features, this Nokia will be quite basic. We have a 2.4 inch (ca. 61 cm) screen and a 1200 mAh battery. There is a small camera at the rear, with 0.3 MP resolution. The camera has a built-in flash, but does not support video so don’t expect to shoot with this phone.

Its processor has a mere 0.36 Ghz of power, with 8 MB of RAM and 16 MB of internal storage. Being a device similar to Xpress Music, it supports expansion by micro SD card up to 32 GB. In this way, the equipment can be used as an MP3 player.
