Something that has always positively highlighted the new incarnation of Nokia, by the hand of HMD Global, was its update policy. In an increasingly fragmented market, the Finnish company is among the fastest and most comprehensive in updating its models.
Honoring this history, HMD Global has announced which Nokia smartphones will receive the new Android 11. We have a total of 14 devices that will receive the new software by the end of the second quarter of 2021.

The process of upgrading these smartphones to Android 11 will start at the latest until December this year. The first model contemplated will be the new Nokia 8.3 5G, followed by the rest of the list above.
That said, we can’t help but praise Nokia’s update policy again. The Finnish will not limit itself to updating its most powerful equipment, but also those of lower ranges.
Since Nokia smartphones use an interface quite similar to pure Android, it is easy to see what improvements Android 11 will bring to devices. One of the most important has to do with the security of the system, making it possible to assign temporary permissions.
Another focus of Android 11 is notifications, which are now separated by themes. We also have a new panel for recent applications, placing your smart home controls in the device’s on / off menu or a simpler method of sharing files.
