Nokia 5.3 is a step in the right direction, but it will have a difficult task to gain prominence
Compared to the manufacturer’s previous offerings in this segment, there is no doubt that the new Nokia 5.3 represents an important step in HMD Global’s strategy.
However, when looking at its list of specifications it is not difficult to think of several smartphones from Chinese manufacturers that have much more to offer. In practically all segments, Nokia 5.3 could present better specifications, especially in the photographic segment and its battery’s charging capacity.
Regarding its price, Nokia 5.3 will arrive with a base price of € 189 and will be available on the market at the end of April.
As you would expect, the manufacturer guarantees at the outset that this smartphone will receive two major updates to the operating system – Android 11 and Android 12 – as well as three years of security updates.
