Every year, Apple introduces its new processor in September with new iPhones. The difference is that this year, the new A14 Bionic was unveiled with the iPad Air 4.
This equipment recently passed the Geekbench platform, where it revealed its performance. According to the numbers reached by the iPad Air 4 in the test, the A14 Bionic will continue to dominate the market.
A14 Bionic remains the most powerful processor on the market
The 4198 points obtained in the multi-core test reveal that the new processor from Apple will continue to be the most powerful in its market. Its main rival Snapdragon 865+ remains a good distance on the same platform.
It is important to note that these values were obtained with an iPad Air 4. However, they are already quite promising data for what to expect from the performance of the new iPhone 12, which will use the same A14 Bionic.
The results obtained on this platform are important to rest iPhone fans. A few weeks ago, preliminary tests on the iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the AnTuTu platform, revealed results below those obtained by the Snapdragon 865+.
This can be explained by the fact that this test was carried out with an untuned test unit. What doesn’t happen with the iPad Air 4 that we see now on Geekbench.
