There have been several news from Samsung in the mobile segment in recent times. The South Korean manufacturer presented the new Galaxy S20, but also its second foldable, the Galaxy Z Flip. For its part, Xiaomi also introduced the new Mi 10 in China.
These and other devices have now received the desired support for HD and HDR on Netflix. At a time when they are still in pre-order or have not yet arrived in Europe, it is good to know that buyers will be able to watch the content of the streaming service in the best possible quality.

How support works
In order to play Netflix HD content, a device needs to be Widevine DRM L1 certified, but also pass Netflix internal tests. For HDR support the same certification is required, with the natural addition of the screen having to support HDR itself.
