Motorola, under Lenovo's charge, has been doing a satisfactory job and the handsets have been very successful, especially with our friends from Brazil.
The current Moto Z and Moto Z Force received the update for the latest version of Android in November and now it should be Moto X Force's turn which, according to a Bluetooth SIG documentation that emerged in the last few hours, you can see that Android 7.0 has been certified by this company to be used on Moto X Force (or as it is called in the US, Motorola Droid 2 Turbo).

Normally, when these type of certifications are issued, the terminals are presented shortly or in this case the update Software So if you have a Moto X Force (which despite being a 2015 model still has very robust and capable hardware), you should certainly start receiving this update later this month or early February. It is also believed that this update also improve battery management when the equipment is in standby which in turn will lead to greater autonomy.
Whenever I see an older model receiving updates, the brand that makes it gets another plus point in my unconscious assessment because it is a sign that this brand has affection for its customers and, as such, needs to cherish and give them a boost. Getting them good software upgrades is undoubtedly a good way to go. Hopefully other major brands in the market will follow the same path as Motorola (well, Lenovo).
