Through the YouPin crowdfunding and selling platform, Xiaomi has created a new product for the coming cold times. It's called Uleemark 3.0 and is essentially a heated windbreaker jacket with included powerbank.
Uleemark 3.0 raised over 400% of the money originally projected on the YouPin platform. Therefore, the jackets will go into production soon, and will later be available from the usual online Chinese retailers.
Uleemark 3.0 Jacket Features
Xiaomi's coat is quite peculiar as it has two sides and has a heat generator included in the fabric. The jacket's heating technology is powered by the included powerbank, with a capacity of 10,000 mAh. Xiaomi claims that the jacket warms up about 7 hours per charge.
The heating technology has 3 temperature modes, allowing the user to adapt the heat generated by the jacket to their liking. The jacket can reach temperatures between 35 to 55 degrees Celsiusdepending on the option.
One side of the jacket is waterproof, perfect for rainy weather. There are also aesthetic elements on the front and back of the jacket to facilitate user recognition in the dark by vehicles. To give you an idea of the heating modes, the jacket has a button with an LED light that tells you which mode you are in.
Pricing and Availability for the Uleemark 3.0 Jacket
Once on the market, the Uleemark 3.0 jacket will be worth 64 euros. This price should increase after you receive your PVP. For now, only official availability in the Asian market is foreseen.
