After launching the revolutionary LG Wing, many believed that the manufacturer was finally determined to turn one of the blackest pages in its history on the smartphone market. However, it looks like it won’t happen, at least for now. The brand will continue to bet on the launch of uncompetitive smartphones in the lower segments, and its next bet will be the LG K92.
The LG K92 had previously received certification from the FCC, indicating that its launch should be close. Now, its appearance on the Google Play Console reveals some more of its specifications and confirms an imminent launch.
The LG K92’s assets could still be “kept up its sleeve”
The listing on the Google Play Console revealed that the LG K92 will arrive with a Full HD + resolution screen and 420 DPI, as well as a punch hole positioned in the center. Regarding its performance, we learned that it will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 processor and at least 6GB of RAM. As expected, it will arrive at the factory with Android 10.
Considering the heavy competition offered by the various smartphones from Xiaomi, Realme, OPPO and Vivo in these segments, it seems unlikely that the LG K92 will be able to have a different destination than its predecessors. Although LG smartphones come with interesting specifications, they end up failing to achieve a price / quality ratio at the level of Chinese rivals.
However, it is also possible that LG is still holding some trumps up its sleeve when it comes to K92 specifications. So far, information about their cameras has not yet been revealed. Since this is a smartphone intended for the mid-range segment, fantastic cameras are not expected, but some sensors with above-average capacities can make all the difference.
Considering that it has already received FCC certification and has now appeared on the Google Play Console, information on a release date is expected to be revealed over the next few days.
