LG is proving to be a sleeping giant! 2021 will be the “knockout” year

As with so many other companies, LG has now released its 3rd quarter 2020 financial reports, and the numbers are really impressive. After a frightening break that started in late 2019 and lasted during the first quarter of 2020, the brand finally seems on track to return to the glory of other times.

It is true that LG’s mobile division continues to post operating losses of around 107 million euros, but it is important to note that its sales have finally returned to the values reached last year, putting an end to a dizzying fall.

LG performance sales

LG Wing, Velvet and Q51 were the highlights of the manufacturer’s recent success

In the published report, 3 smartphones were highlighted, being identified as the key products for the great success during the 3rd quarter of 2020. When we look at the three mobile phones (LG Wing, LG Velvet and LG Q51), we are left with the clear idea of that the manufacturer is determined to invest in a very balanced strategy.

The Q51 was responsible for a major recovery in the low-end segment, the LG Velvet managed to impress and create great demand in the mid-range segment and the LG Wing came to revolutionize the way we look and interact with smartphones. This seems to be the perfect plan, we will have to wait and see what the brand has in store for 2021.

Now that they have managed to put themselves in the spotlight again, LG is preparing to face a year of “knockout” in which, they cannot afford to disappoint their fans. It seems unlikely that in a short time they will be able to rival the major Chinese brands again, but 2021 may mark the return of one of the colossus of the smartphone market.

If LG manages to maintain this level of growth throughout the next year, we can finally see the return of one of the most cherished smartphone manufacturers ever.
