Amazon's virtual assistant, Alexa, has been a smash hit. The holiday season was so generous for these voice-activated devices that Lenovo couldn't resist launching an alternative to Amazon Echo and Google Home. I introduce you to Lenovo Smart Assistant, the "new home" for Alexa.

Although quite similar to Amazon Echo, the new Chinese-branded product was developed in close partnership with Amazon (hence its similarities) and will be available in many colors.
This Amazon Echo competitor is a small cylindrical device with a silver upper face and the remaining well-colored body. At the top we will have the buttons and controllers sitting on a platform that seems to be levitating. Here we will have 8 noise and echo cancellation microphones, promising 360 ° coverage so sound quality and ease of interaction are never a problem.
Inside, in addition to Alexa software we will also have Harman Kardon technology and audio quality. The device can recognize commands and orders at a distance of 5 meters so you have to be in the same room for it to recognize your orders.
Lenovo's response to Amazon Echo, Smart Assistant will go on sale in May with two versions. The base version will cost $ 129.99 while the Harman Kardon technology special edition will cost a little more, about $ 179.99
