There have been several rumors that Valve is developing the third edition of the game Left 4 Dead. From a YouTube channel spreading rumors to a presentation by HTC Vive suggesting the existence and development of the game.
However, Valve completely “destroyed” these rumors in a recent interview with IGN. The company claims that “Left 4 Dead 3 is not at all in development.” Valve explained that they internally explored some possibilities for a new game in the saga a few years ago.
“We are not and have not been working on anything related to Left 4 Dead in recent years.” Therefore, fans of the saga may bow their heads sadly. We won’t be seeing the FPS and zombie saga on store shelves again anytime soon. Who knows if Valve will not bet on the game again, since she made titles again.
Half-Life: Alyx is Valve’s next game
As soon as they announced the game Half-Life: Alyx, Valve completely exhausted its stock of Valve Index VR headsets. In fact, the gaming community continues to yearn for a title in the Half-Life saga, even if it is not the expected Half-Life 3.
Half-Life Alyx is a game dedicated to virtual reality platforms. The events take place after Half-Life 2, where the player controls Alyx Vance while she and her father fight the alien empire Combine, already famous in the two previous games.
This will be the first game in the Half-Life franchise in 13 years. The last game, Half-Life 2: Episode Two was released in the distant year of 2007. Half-Life: Alyx will be released in March 2020.
